\section{Introduction}
Global Science Today publishes research across scientific disciplines.
The introduction should explain the context, identify the research question
and state the purpose of the study. Citations use Vancouver numbering in
round parentheses, as demonstrated here \citep{lamport1994}.

Describe the study design, materials and analytical procedures in sufficient
detail for the work to be evaluated and reproduced.

Equations may be included inline, such as $E=mc^2$, or displayed and numbered:

\section{Results}
Present the results clearly and in a logical sequence. Refer to each table,
figure and equation in the text. Table~\ref{tab:example} illustrates the
preferred table style. Figure~\ref{fig:example} demonstrates the placement of
a single-column scientific figure. Figure~\ref{fig:image-example} shows how to
